About the firm

The gap between institutions and the communities they serve is not a people problem.
It is a systems problem.

iZone Corp was built to fix that gap — by designing, implementing, and sustaining the language access infrastructure, community engagement systems, and workforce capacity that public institutions require to fulfill their legal and ethical obligations to multilingual populations.

We operate through four integrated practice divisions serving government agencies, healthcare systems, educational institutions, courts, housing authorities, and nonprofit organizations across the United States.

Our senior leadership holds advanced academic training in urban planning from Georgetown University, combined with over two decades of direct operational presence inside the Somali and Arabic-speaking communities of the Twin Cities. We do not study these communities. We come from them.

iZone Corp holds minority-owned and immigrant-owned business certifications and is a registered government contracting vendor. Our engagements range from targeted compliance audits to multi-year institutional consulting relationships.

“We do not produce recommendations and exit. We design systems, implement them alongside client teams, and remain engaged until they function as designed.”

Our practice divisions

Four divisions.
One integrated firm.

Each division represents a complete, independent practice area — with its own regulatory expertise, service architecture, and delivery framework. Together they form a comprehensive consulting infrastructure for institutions serving multilingual communities.

Community Engagement
Division II
Community Engagement & Cultural Strategy
Outreach is a tactic. Engagement is a system. We help organizations build the relationships, communication infrastructure, and cultural fluency required to work authentically with Somali, Arabic, and broader multilingual communities — not as a project, but as a permanent institutional capacity.
  • Community engagement strategy and implementation
  • Multilingual outreach campaign design
  • Stakeholder engagement and advisory council facilitation
  • Community listening sessions in community languages
  • Culturally responsive program and service design

Public Sector Consulting
Division III
Public Sector Service Delivery Consulting
Government programs are designed with intention. They rarely reach every community they are mandated to reach. We identify the structural and operational barriers that limit multilingual access — and build the systems that close that gap permanently, drawing on advanced expertise in urban systems and public sector program design.
  • Service delivery system design and optimization
  • Equity and language access audits for public programs
  • Community needs assessments for grant and policy use
  • Public participation planning for housing and development
  • Government program implementation support

Workforce Training
Division IV
Workforce Training & Institutional Capacity Building
Systems require people who know how to operate them. We build the internal capacity of agencies and institutions so their staff can effectively serve multilingual populations — not only during an engagement, but as a permanent organizational competency.
  • Language access compliance training for agency staff
  • Cultural competency and cultural humility workshops
  • Interpreter protocol training — healthcare and legal settings
  • Custom curriculum design and train-the-trainer programs
  • Ongoing staff development retainer engagements

iZone Corp community presence
Our roots

Two decades inside the communities we serve.

iZone Corp’s senior leadership has operated within the Somali and Arabic-speaking communities of the Twin Cities for over 20 years — through mosques, cultural organizations, refugee resettlement networks, and direct community service.

We do not study these communities. We come from them. That depth of community knowledge is the professional asset that makes every iZone Corp engagement more accurate, more trusted, and more effective than anything an outside organization can produce.

“The combination of institutional expertise and community knowledge — that is what most firms in this space do not have. It is also what determines whether the work actually works.”

Why iZone Corp

What separates a vendor from a partner.

There are many language access providers. There are very few firms that combine deep institutional knowledge of government systems and compliance frameworks with deep community roots in the populations those systems are obligated to serve.

That combination is what makes iZone Corp engagements produce results that other firms in this space have not been able to replicate.

Languages in our professional network
01
We understand the systems.
Federal language access law, Title VI requirements, government procurement frameworks, and public sector program design are not new territory. We operate inside these systems on every engagement — as practitioners, not observers.
02
We specialize where depth determines outcomes.
Somali and Arabic are our core language strengths, supported by a professional network covering 200+ languages. In this field, specialization is not a differentiator — it is a prerequisite for accurate, trustworthy service delivery.
03
We deliver systems, not reports.
iZone Corp does not produce recommendations and exit. We design systems, implement them, train the staff responsible for operating them, and remain engaged until they function as designed. Engagements end when the work works.
04
We bridge two worlds most firms cannot.
iZone Corp has the institutional knowledge of a consulting firm and the community credibility of an organization that emerged from the populations it serves. That combination is uncommon — and it is what determines whether community engagement work actually works.
05
This is the only work we do.
iZone Corp was built specifically to serve the intersection of public institutions and multilingual communities. Every division, every service, every engagement exists within that focus. We do not apply a general methodology — we built an entire firm around this work.
